About us

Our success is based on collective buying, giving our clientsscrable-image
access to more favourable pricing.  We have refined and finessed the process of buying and selling foreign exchange on behalf of clients ensuring the best possible market rates at the right time.  With the right strategy to hedge forex exposures we limit risk in adverse market movements and benefit from exposures as far as possible in favourable market conditions.

We help our clients to understand and manage the risks involved in managing money, specifically cash and foreign exchange.  Evaluating risk has dimensions: the probability of something going wrong and the negative consequences that will happen if it does.  We help to minimize the negative impacts risk may have and control risk in a cost-effective way.

RSAT is independent and has no shareholding relationship with any bank.  We conduct business with all the banks regulated by SARB.  Our preferred banks offer more beneficial rates to us due to the volume of transactions we place with them.  In turn, our clients benefit from better rates therefore getting better value from each transaction.

Strategic Alliances

We have formed strategic alliances to assist in the areas of risk management and derivative products and pricing.  Our alliances bring measurable value to clients by clarifying and quantifying risk.  If we know the risks we can use methods to reduce or even neutralise them.  Sound risk management systems and policies are essential to manage risks.

Partnering Approach

RSAT partners with highly skilled, experienced individuals from multi-disciplinary partnershipbackgrounds to form expert teams.  It is the policy of RSAT to promote employment equity which creates a culture of understanding and sharing.  This approach allows us to interface with our clients in such a way that ongoing business relationships are forged and nurtured.

Our Fees

Our fee structure is flexible with options that include a low flat rate commission, a fee based on percentage of turnover, a fee based on the out performance of agreed benchmarks or a combination of the three structures.  Clients can arrange for the bank to pay fees directly to RSAT to alleviate the administrative burden.

The fees are completely transparent and no margin is paid to RSAT by the banks without our clients’ prior consent.  Our fee structure is in line with the requirements of the FSA as well as SARB.

RSAT is registered with the Financial Services Board (FSB 45001) and FICA compliant.
